Cascade Falls
Cascade Falls is Located west of Duck Creek Village, Utah. Cascade Falls is an out and back 1.2 mile hike which is considerably easy for the entire family to walk along. Most of the trail is well maintained At the end of the Cascade Falls Trail, you will reach a waterfall with a platform for viewing. This trail is OK to bring dogs and has exceptional views as it is on a cliffside. Birdwatching is best from June through October. The trail is only accessible after snowfall melts away. Depending on the previous winter, that could be as early as April or as late as June. Please do not attempt to access this trail during winter months.
The Waterfall is runoff water from Navajo Lake. The water leaves Navajo Lake through skink holes and re-emerges through the limestone cliffside. The best time to see the most water would be spring and early summer. Depending on the previous winter, Snow and rainfall will determine how much water is flowing and the rate at which it comes out of the cave.
